The project originally billed as 'Big Baller' is finally complete. The resulting machine is not only a masterful showcase of the skilled workman we have at Sunset Choppers, but a rolling work of art. This is not your daddy's kind of chopper or a factory cookie cutter, this bike is one-of-a-kind perfection. From the striking lines that form the gas tank to the massive 300 series rear tire, this bike for lack of a better word, flows. Everything you see here has been hand made. The gas tank is actually two separate pieces that rest on the frame's backbone. The oil tank is a complex combination of convex and concave metal, truly beautiful. The chosen power plant is the shop favored Revtech 110" motor which has been married to the Revtech 6-speed transmission via a 3 in. open primary with outer barring support from BDL.
The uniqueness of the exhaust pipes we build is something that Sunset Choppers LTD prides itself in. The pipes are powder coated in flat black and are built to wrap around the chrome downtubes of the frame. A distinctive touch is the hand-cut 'Sunset' heat shield. Another first for our shop is the hand built ram-air scoop. The air is forced in between the gas tanks and is fed through a custom built chrome pipe that emerges from the right gas tank and into the carburetor.
The newest creation fittingly renamed 'Savage' from Sunset Choppers LTD is up for sale. The bike that best showcases the shop's talent can be yours for $39,000 out of the door. Being that Sunset Choppers LTD is a licensed manufacturer this price includes all taxes, tag, title and paperwork.
